Miles City Public Library

Let's share our stories.

The Institute of Museum and Library Services, the organization that distributes statutorially-funded federal grants to state libraries (among other institutions), is facing an uncertain future from an Executive Order on March 14. While there are few answers and many questions, Miles City Public Library encourages you to Show Up for Our Libraries. The American Library Association has prepared a one-click email to send to our congressional delegates in Washington to let them know how you feel about the potential elimination of IMLS and how it could directly impact your use of libraries. Just click the image, fill out the form, and hit send!

Libraries are the bridges between humans. We are safe spaces. We are knowledge and information. We are intellectual freedom. We are community centers. We are summer reading and puzzle tables and free WiFi. We are copying and faxing and relaxing. We are for every person who enters our building.
